The Dream of those who are awake

The installation explores the explicit and exposed which also contains the hidden and the covert.
I suggest hope for the future, but does not ignore the liminal space where hope might become despair.
In the center of the room there is a pole, a kind of totem nearly four meters high.
The top end features several iron construction bars, which reach upwards suggesting an option for continuity.
Objects exhibited in the room stem from the totem: pregnant figures are scattered on the pole and in the open space,
expressing the options of fertility and prosperity that cannot necessarily be fulfilled.
This image of pregnancy, which is the leitmotif of all the figures, presents an ambivalent standpoint:
on the one hand it suggests hope and trust in a place and the future, while on the other hand,
it arouses speculations about a place's ability to ensure a positive future.
